The Process
Clients book an appointment with the designer where they are encouraged to try on our collections to determine which styles suit them. They then sit down with the designer and discuss their design ideas and a sketch of the gown is made. You will see the same designer from start to finish.
The client is then able to browse fabrics and the designer provides advice and guidance regarding the best fabrics to complement the design and the overall look the client is trying to achieve.
Once a final design has been agreed upon, a price for the gown can be determined. This consultation process is free and there is no obligation on behalf of the client to commission the gown or garment to be made.
At this time however, if a client wishes to commission us to create their bespoke gown or garment, we would then ask for a deposit. The outstanding balance will be payable prior to completion.
Gowns are made over several fittings and generally take between 6 – 8 months dependent upon the complexity of the design.
At each stage, alterations are made to ensure a perfect fit and the client has the ability to make some adaptations to the design to ensure their dress is the dress of their dreams.
Clients are also able to buy from the collection of bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and prom gowns if they wish, and have the gowns altered to ensure that perfect fit.
Having our own collections also enables the client to see the quality of our workmanship. We are happy to provide fabric samples to help with matching accessories but do design and make our own bags and purses.
